RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE MUNICIPAL
CLERK OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET TO EXECUTE ANY
DOCUMENTS NECESSARY FOR THE CLOSING OF TITLE ON
PROPERTY KNOWN AS LOT 1.02 IN BLOCK 5.01
WHEREAS, the Governing Body of the Borough of Carteret has previously
determined that it is in the best interest of ire citizens of the Borough of Carteret that
it purchase the vacant property known as the Mobil Property located on Roosevelt
Avenue, in the Borough of Carteret, New Jersey; and
WHEREAS, the Governing Body has already authorized the Mayor to sign a
contract and proceed to closing on that property; and
WHEREAS, the contract is ready for closing of title on or about September 14,
1995;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Mayor
and the Municipal Clerk of the Borough of Carteret is hereby authorized to execute
any documents necessary for the purchase of lands and premises known as the Mobil
Property located on Roosevelt Avenue in the Borough of Carteret, for the purchase
price of $275,000.00.
Adopted this 13th day of September, 1995
and certified as a true copy of the original
on September 14, 1995.
