RESOLUTION NO. 2001-143 ADOPTED AIIGIIST 14:2001
A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT EXTENSION TO AMLINER EAST, INC., IN
THE AMOUNT OF $210,346.00 FOR PHASE In OF THE SANITARY SEWER
RELINING PROJECT
WHEREAS, the FY02 Capital Improvements Program includes a sewer relining project for the
town's Inflow/Infiltration Abatement program; and
WHEREAS, by resolution #200043, adopted on February 23, 2000, Council awarded a contract to
Am-Liner East, Inc. for Phase I work following a public solicitation for bids; and
WHEREAS, the contract was structured as a multiphase contract upon satisfactory performance of
Phase I work; and
WHEREAS, Phase II work has been completed under a purchase order; and
WHEREAS, Phase 111 work has been identified and is ready for implementation; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Utilities recommends awarding a contract extension to Amliner East,
Inc., in the amount of $210,346.00 for this relining project for Phase 111.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The town manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract extension with Amliner East, Inc., in
the amount of $210,346.00 for Phase In of the Sanitary Sewer Relining project.
