A RESOLUTION: DENYING SPECIAL EXCEPTION #SE 2001-04 MRS.
FAKHRA KHALID, 108 PHEASANT PLACE, RISE AND
SHINE DAY CARE TO PER_MIT A HOME BASED CHII~D
CARE CENTER
WHEREAS, Mrs. Fakhra Khalid has requested special exception approval to
permit a home based child care center at her residence, at 108 Pheasant Place; and
WHEREAS, the property is located in the PRN (Planned Residential
Neighborhood) District; and
WHEREAS, on October 10, 2001 the Town Council held a public hearing; and
WHEREAS, The Town Council has found that this proposed use is not
compatible with, and adversely affects, the surrounding neighborhood; and
WHEREAS, conditions, safeguards and restrictions cannot be used to adequately
mitigate the impact of the proposed use.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Leesburg in
Virginia as follows:
Application #SE 2001-04, Rise and Shine Day Care is hereby denied.
PASSED this 23rd day of October 2001.
