7:3o Scott Collum-request to receive septic permit without well installation
pB-recussed himself due to being a potential abutter
(v>r. Collum is asi<ing permission to get his septic permit approved before he installs his well, due to the fact
that he would have to clear a large portion of his land to get the well in and it would be very expensive. NI
told the Board that it is a State law that water has to be installed prior to issuing a septic permit. The Board
suggested that he get a plan with Town water shown on it and if in the future he decides he wants a well he
can apply at that time.

Mr. Bornstein would IiKe to finish his basement without having to upgrade the septic sYStem which they just
upgraded in 2006. The Board determined that per a room count, he would have to upgrade the sYStem.

s:1o Francis Cash-request for 5 bedroom septic without I/,~ system (in GPDI
(vlr. Cash has already installed a septic system but would IiKe to finish his basement and room above the
garage. He is in the GPD and has roughly ~2,ooosf of land. He is asKing to be allowed to do this without
upgrading the sYStem to an I/~4 sYStem• The Board discussed this and determined that he would need to put
an I/•4 sYStem in if he wants the extra rooms.

New paperworK was handed out. There was a brief discussion. NI spoKe about Paul Hici<s and his concern
with this regulation. she stated that she asKed him to put his concerns in writing. since the'~oard did not
have a chance to read through all the paperworK, they agreed to have this come baci< to the next meeting.
