AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR
PARK DRIVE SEWER AND
IMPROVEMENTS
PRESENTED: November 14, 2001
ADOPTED: November 14, 2001
CONSTRUCTION OF THE CARDINAL
PHASE II SANITARY SEWER
WHEREAS, bid documents for the sanitary sewer improvements, Cardinal Park Drive and Phase II
were prepared and publicly advertised pursuant to state and local and procurement laws; and
WHEREAS, four bids were received on September 28, 2001, and publicly opened; and
WHEREAS, Perry Engineering Company, Inc. of Winchester, Virginia was the lowest responsive
and responsible bidder in the total amount of $637,104.10; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Utilities recommends award of the contract to Perry Engineering
Company, Inc.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The Town Manager is hereby directed to enter into an agreement with Perry Engineering, Inc., in a
form approved by Town Attorney, for construction of Cardinal Park Drive Sewer and Phase 11 Sanitary
Sewer Improvements, in the amount of $637,104.10
