THE BREWSTER BOARD OF HEALTH WORK MEETING
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2007 AT 7:OOPM

Present: Dan Brightman, Chairman, James Reynolds, Keith Johnson, Andrew Petty, Nancy Ellis Ice, Health Director
and Tammi Mason, Administrative Clerk
Discuss Regulations for the operations of Outdoor Cafes
NI stated that she put this on the agenda to show the Board. The Board asked that a section on the food application
be added to ask the # of indoor and outdoor seats the restaurant has.
2. Discuss the proposed Water Quality Regulation
There was a very lengthy discussion on this issue. DB thought that the Board should come up with their own
regulation to cut through all the red tape. Jillian Douglass, Elizabeth Taylor, Dyanne Cooney and ED Barbour were
present and voiced their opinions also. This will be brought up again at the next meeting.
3. Discuss Harwich Board of Health regulation
Joanne Hughes had asked to have this put on the agenda so the Board agreed to wait until she came back to discuss
it.
4. Discuss Health Director's FY08 Objectives

checklist that Mike Giggey had.
