THE BREWSTER BOARD OF HEALTH WORK MEETING
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2007 AT 7:OOPM
TOWN HALL, ROOM A
Present: Dan Brightman, Chairman, Joanne Hughes, Vice Chairman, James Reynolds, Keith Johnson,
Andrew Petty, Nancy Ellis Ice, Health Director and Tammi Mason, Administrative Clerk

Motion: JR-grant variance request. JH seconded. 5 yes
1. Discuss proposed water quality bylaw
Peter Johnson, Conservation Trust, Chris Miller, Natural Resource Director, Jillian Douglass, Assistant Town
Administrator and Elizabeth Taylor from Planning Board were all present for this discussion. There was a
very lengthy discussion on this issue with many different opinions. After this very long discussion ET said
she would write something up with the changes that had been discussed and this issue would be brought
back to another Board meeting at a later date.
2. Discuss Harwich regulation
The Board asked that this be brought back at another time.
3. Discuss food establishment applications
The Board agreed that they needed to come up with a definition of what the number of seats were for
different types of tables. They asked that a spot for number of seats be put on restaurant renewal forms.
4. Discuss registration section of Animal Regulations
NI spoke to the Board about this issue and the fact that the State does not require the inspector to check
this on the annual inspections. The Board asked that a spot be put on the renewal form asking the barn
permit holders for this information. The Board also asked if a meeting could be set up with the
Agricultural Commission to discuss the Animal Regulations.
5. Discuss Planning Board application for 17 Bassett Lane
