AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER
AGREEMENT FOR ELECTRIC SERVICE
ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY
PRESENTED November 27, 2001
ADOPTED November 27, 2001
TO EXECUTE AN
WITH VIRGINIA
WHEREAS, Virginia Electric and Power Company, hereinafter called "Virginia
Power", and VML/VACo have prepared a new contract for electric service to public facilities of
local governments, such as government offices, recreational facilities, and water and sewer
treatment plants; and
WHEREAS, VML/VACo have endorsed the new agreement; and
WHEREAS, the agreement has been favorably reviewed by the Departments of Finance,
Engineering and Public Works, Utilities, and the Town Attorney.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
town manager is authorized to execute the attached agreement for electric service with Virginia
Power.
