A RESOLUTION: AWARDING A CONTRACT TO NEW CONSTRUCTION, INC. IN
THE AMOUNT OF $1,323,689.00 FOR THE NORTH APRON
EXPANSION AND REHABILITATION AT I.EESBURG EXECUTIVE
AIRPORT
WHEREAS, An Invitation for Bid was issued for the North Apron Expansion and
Rehabilitation at the Leesburg Executive Airport; and
WHEREAS, two bidders responded as shown below:

WHEREAS, the bids were evaluated in accordance with the town Purchasing Policy; and
WHEREAS, New Construction Inc. was the apparent low bidder; and
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $1,372,664 are included in the current year Capital
Improvement Plan of which $146,543 have been expended leaving and available balance of
$1,226,121; and
WHEREAS, the references of the lowest responsive, responsible bidder for this purchase
are acceptable; and
WHEREAS, the Airport Director and Airport Commission recommend award of a
purchase contract in the amount of $1,323,689.00 to New Construction Inc., for the North Apron
Expansion and Rehabilitation of the Leesburg Executive Airport as specified in the Invitation for
Bid.

A RESOLUTION: AWARDING A CONTRACT TO NEW CONSTRUCTION INC. IN THE
AMOUNT OF $1,323,689.00 FOR THE NORTH APRON EXPANSION AND
REHABILITATION AT LEESBURG EXECUTIVE AIRPORT.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia the
following:
SECTION I. The Town Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract for the
North Apron Expansion and Rehabilitation to New Construction Inc. in the amount of
$1,323,689.00, in a form acceptable to the Town Attorney.
SECTION Il. The Town Council approves an additional appropriation in the amount of
$97,568 for the North Apron Expansion and Rehabilitation of which ninety-eight percent (98%) is
funded by Federal and State Grants and the remaining two percent (2%) from the Airport
Operating Account.
