ADOPTING TOWN COUNCIL GOALS FOR THE COMING MONTHS
WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to adopt a prioritized list of goals for the coming
months; and
WHEREAS, the staff recommends that Council adopt such goals.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
following list of prioritized goals shall be the goals of the Council for January 1 through June 30,
2002.
1. Annexation (including a public input meeting)
2. Tax rate/Budget - capital projects & impact on operating budget/staffing
levels/technology/e-commerce/employee training including customer service
3. Downtown development/downtown traffic/downtown parking
4. Elementary school site
5. Space needs
6. Zoning Ordinance review & approval
7. Organizational culture
8. Relationship with Loudoun County
