A RESOLUTION:
APPOINTING COUNCILMEMBER MERVIN JACKSON TO THE
ANNEXATION NEGOTIATING COMMrrTEE
WHEREAS, on November 27, 2001 the Town Council adopted Resolution No. 2001-196
appointing a special committee to negotiate an annexation agreement with Loudoun County; and
WHEREAS, Mayor B. J. Webb has resigned from the Annexation Negotiating
Committee; and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Mervin Jackson has agreed to serve on the committee.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg, Virginia that
Councilmember Mervin Jackson is appointed to the Annexation Negotiating Committee.
PASSED this 8th day of January 2002.
