CURRENT CITY MANAGER ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF MOAB TO ENTER INTO
A CONTRACT FOR THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL FORECASTING SERVICES
The following describes the intent and purpose of this resolution:
a. The City Council and the Mayor agree that the firm of Econowest Associates,
Inc. is qualified to provide financial forecasting services to the City of Moab
for the purpose of developing a robust long-term model of revenues and
expenses;
b. The Council authorizes the City Manager to engage in reasonable
negotiations to come to an agreement with Econowest Associates, Inc. for
contracted services based on the parameters of their response to the City's
recent solicitation of bids for financial forecasting services; and
c. Those negotiations will result in a contracted amount not to exceed $25,000.
The foregoing resolution is approved and adopted by action of the Moab City
Council, as set forth below. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
