RESOLUTION NO. 2 0 0 2 - 2 6 ADOPTED February 12, 2002
A RESOLUTION: MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE LEESBURG STANDING
RESDENTIAL TRAFFIC COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Leesburg Town Council to replace Mr. Terry Camilleri, who
has resigned as the citizen representative for the northwest quadrant; and
WHEREAS, the Leesburg Town Council needs to make an appointment to the northwest
quadrant for a total of five (5) citizen representatives to serve on the Standing Residential Traffic
Committee; and
WHEREAS, the five (5) citizen representatives will consist of one (1) At-large member, and one
(1) each from northeast, northwest, southeast and southwest quadrants of town; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering and Public Works recommends that Mr. Rick Knight be
the citizen representative for the northwest quadrant for the Standing Residential Traffic Committee; and
WHEREAS, the primary functions of the Standing Residential Traffic Committee will be to
evaluate traffic calming requests and traffic issues and forward recommendations on Residential Traffic
Management to the Town Council.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. Mr. Rick Knight is hereby appointed to the Standing Residential Traffic Committee
as the northwest quadrant member.
SECTION II. The term for each member shall be two (2) years and the initial term shall expire
on June 30, 2002.
