A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO DODONA MANOR
WHEREAS, Dodona Manor Board needs financial assistance in order to complete the
renovation of Dodona Manor; and
WHEREAS, the town desires to terminate the lease for the Inglenook Book Store; and
WHEREAS, it has been suggested that an agreement can be reached by the town paying
$50,000 immediately with the understanding that Dodona Manor may seek town assistance in the
amount of $25,000 for the next four years.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Town Council approves this proposal and authorizes the Town Manager to sign an appropriate
agreement with the Dodona Manor Board terminating the Inglenook lease and memorializing the
above, which agreement will be prepared by the Town Attorney and approved by him as to form.
