DECLARING CERTAIN VEHICLES
PROPERTY
PRESENTED April 9, 2002
ADOPTED April 9, 2002
AND EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS
WHEREAS, town departments have identified certain vehicles and equipment as surplus
property to be disposed of; and
WHEREAS, town surplus property must be disposed of in accordance with Administrative
Regulation Section 3, No. 2; and
WHERAS, the Director of Finance recommends that these items be declared surplus.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The Town Council declares the equipment and vehicles identified on the
attached "SURPLUS 2002" list as surplus property.
SECTION II. The town manager is authorized and directed to advertise and sell this surplus
property at public auction in accordance with Administrative Regulation Section 3, No. 2.
SECTION III. The auction, conducted by town staff, will be held on May 18, 2002, at 10:00
a.m. at the Town Shop located at 1393 East Market Street staff.
