A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING A TIME EXTENSION FOR COMPLETION OF PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS AND A APPROVING PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE FOR
REHAU HEADQUARTERS EXPANSION
WHEREAS, Rehau Incorporated, the developer of Rehau Headquarters Expansion, has not completed
all the required public improvements in accordance with the approved construction drawings and town
standards within the two-year period agreed to in the contract for public improvements; and
WHEREAS, the developer has requested a time extension to complete the public improvements; and
WHEREAS, a cash bond in the amount of $130,000.00 was provided by the developer to guarantee
the installation of public improvements; and
WHEREAS, the town's Director of Engineering and Public Works recommends a time extension to
September 1, 2002; and
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The cash bond in the amount of $130,000.00 is approved to guarantee the installation
of public improvements at the Rehau Headquarters Expansion.
SECTION II. A time extension to September 1, 2002 for completion of the public improvements at
· the Rehau Headquarters Expansion is approved.
