AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS AND
APPROVING ADDENDUM 16 TO THE CONTRACT WITH
CAMPBELL & PARIS ENGINEERS FOR CONSTRUCTION
MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE WEST SIDE SAFETY
IMPROVEMENTS AT LEESBURG EXECUTIVE AIRPORT IN THE
AMOUNT OF $133,375
WHEREAS, a contract was awarded to Campbell & Paris Engineers for engineering,
architectural, and construction management services May 28, 1996; and
WHEREAS, the project was approved as part of the FY 01 Capitol Improvement
Program and funds in the amount of $ 944,865 are available for this project, for actual
construction cost, and an additional $133,375 is required for construction management services;
and
WHEREAS, these construction management services are ninety eight percent (98%)
funded by Federal and State Grants and the remaining two pement (2%) or $2,667.50 from the
Airport Operating Account and;
WHEREAS, the Airport Director and Airport Commission recommend adoption of this
resolution;
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
Section I.
The Town Council authorizes the appropriation of funds in the amount of
$130,707.50 for construction management services for West Side Safety
Improvements.

Section II
The Town Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract for
construction management services in the amount of $133,375 in a form
acceptable to the Town Attorney.
