EXTENSION PERMITS FOR LANSDOWNE ON THE POTOMAC
RIVERSIDE PARKWAY PHASE 4 & 5 AND THE WATERMAIN
EXTENSION
WHEREAS, Lansdowne Community Development, LLC, the developer of Lansdowne
on the Potomac Riverside Parkway Phase 4 & 5 and the Watermain Extension has requested the
approval of corporate surety bonds from the Gulf Insurance Company in the amount of
$76,356.00 for Phase 4 & 5 and $28,523.00 for the Watermain Extension to guarantee the public
improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering and Public Works recommends approval of
contracts for installation of public improvements and acceptance of performance guarantees for
Lansdowne on the Potomac Riverside Parkway Phase 4 & 5 and the Watermain Extension.
RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The town manager shall execute the c°ntracts for public improvements for
the improvements Shown on the plans approved by the Director of Engineering and Public
Works for Lansdowne on the Potomac Riverside Parkway Phase 4 & 5 and the Watermain
Extension.
SECTION II. The extension of municipal water and sewer for the Lansdowne on the
Potomac Riverside Parkway Phase 4 & 5 and the Watermain Extension are approved in
accordance with Sections 15-9 and 19-18 of the Town Code.

SECTION III. The corporate surety bonds in a form approved by the town attorney from
the Gulf Insurance Company in the amounts of $76,356.00 and $28,523.00 are approved as
security to guarantee installation of the public improvements shown on plans approved by the
Director of Engineering and Public Works for Lansdowne on the Potomac Riverside Parkway
Phase 4 & 5 and the Watermain Extension.
