A RESOLUTION:
ADOPTING THE FISCAL YEAR 2003 NEW DAILY ADMISSION
RATES FOR THE IDA LEE PARK RECREATION CENTER
WHEREAS, each year the parks and recreation staff and the Advisory Commission
review the daily admission rates for the Ida Lee Park Recreation Center; and
WHEREAS, the daily admission rates for the Ida Lee Park Recreation Center have not
been increased since Fiscal Year 1993; and
WHEREAS, the Ida Lee Park Recreation Center will expand by 32,600 square feet to
include additional recreation amenities such as racquetball courts, a 6,600 square foot fitness
room, aerobics room, therapy pool, child care facilities, additional classrooms and meeting
space; and
WHEREAS, the expansion project for the Ida Lee Park Recreation Center is expected to
be completed in the fall of 2002; and
WHEREAS, the Leesburg Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission and the Director
of Parks and Recreation have endorsed the new daily admission rates for Ida Lee Park
Recreation Center.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
following new daily admission rates are hereby approved for Fiscal Year 2003 for the Ida Lee
Park Recreation Center, upon the opening date of the new facility, as follows:
Adults (ages 16 and over)
Youth (ages 15 and under)
Senior Citizens (ages 60 and over)
Last hour (all ages)
