A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING NEW BUILDING PERMIT FEES
AND INSPECTION FEES FOR ALL COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL
ZONED PROPERTIES
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin has determined that the current fees
collected from applicants for industrial and commercial building permits and
related inspections are insufficient to cover the costs the City incurs for related
expenses; and therefore, the City finds it is necessary to increase those fees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA:
1. That all .previous resolutions setting permit fees and inspection fees
for property zoned commercial or industrial are void immediately upon passage
of this resolution.
2. That the attached "Industrial and Commercial Building Permits and
Inspection Fees" chart is hereby adopted and that the City Clerk is authorized
to initiate the use of the new fees promptly upon passage of this resolution.
ON THE 9th day of July, 2008, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council,
Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson John Wright introduced, A
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING NEW BUILDING PERMIT FEES AND
INSPECTION FEES FOR ALL COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL
ZONED PROPERTIES and made a motion for approval. The motion was
seconded by Councilperson Mike Gericke

Nays:
Motion carried.
WHEREUPON, the Mayor declared that the A RESOLUTION
ESTABLISHING NEW BUILDING PERMIT FEES AND INSPECTION
FEES FOR ALL COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL ZONED
PROPERTIES, be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his
signature thereto.
PASSED, by the Council on the 9th day of July 2008, and approved by the
Mayor on the 9th day of July 2008.

The'following Resolution 2008- 18 was adopted by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, at
meeting held on July 9, 2008. i
Be it resolved by the City Council -of the City of Tiffin, Iowa that Alliant Energy is hereby
directed to make the following changes to the existing system, at the locations described herein -(or
shown- on an attached map made part of this Resolution) according to the terms expressed in the existing
street light contract.
