A RESOLUTION:
PRESENTED JUNE 11, 2002
2002-9'1 ADOPTED JUNE 11, 2002
AUTHORIZING FRIDAY, JULY 5, 2002 AS A PAID
HOLIDAY FOR TOWN EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, Article 15 - Holidays, of the Town of Leesburg Personnel
Manual does not include Friday, July 5, 2002, as an observed paid holiday for all town
employees; and
WHEREAS, Governor Warner has declared Friday, July 5, 2002, as a paid
holiday for state employees; and
WHEREAS, the County of Loudoun has also declared Friday, July 5, 2002, as a
paid holiday for county employees.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
as follows:
The Town Manager is hereby authorized to administratively implement the
observation of Friday, July 5, 2002, as a paid holiday for all town employees.
PASSED this 11th day of June, 2002.
