A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO SIGN 'DIE CONTRACT WITH
NEW CONSTRUCTION, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,054,009.00 FOR
TERMINAL BULDING PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the Leesburg Executive Airport is the Commonwealth's second busiest general
aviation airport; and
WHEREAS, the "[Own is dedicated to a Capital Improvement program at the Airport to increase
capacity and maintain a high level of safety; and
WHEREAS, the Town desires to proceed w~th develop~nent of Terminal Building Parking Lot
Improvements at the Airport; and
WHEREAS, these construction phase services ate eighty percent (80%) funded by State grant
and the remaining twenty percent (20%) or $210,801.80 is funded from the Airport Operating Account;
and
WHEREAS, the Airport Director and Airport Commission recommend adoption of this
resolution.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Town Manager is hereby authorized to execute the contract with New Construction, Inc. in the amount
of $1,054,009.00 for Terminal Building Parking Lot Improvements.
