A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING NEW PROCEDURES FOR PROCESSING AND
RECORDING SIDEWALK RELEASES FOR ALL RESIDENTIAL AND NOW
RESIDENTIAL ZONED PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN AS APPLCABLE.
Whereas, the City of Tiffin, Iowa has determined that the Mayor and City Clerk will be
responsible for the processing and recording of Sidewalk Releases at the Johnson
County, Iowa Recorder's Office in a timely manner.
Whereas, the Sidewalk Releases will be processed and recorded for sidewalk
improvements as provided in a Developer's Agreement. Releases will be processed
and recorded after improvements have been installed by the Developer or Builder of
said lot and approved by the City of Tiffin through the completion of inspection by
designated Residential or Non -Residential Building Inspectors as applicable.
Whereas, in the absence of Mayor, the Appointed Building Official will be responsible
with City Clerk for processing and recording Sidewalk Releases.
On the 1 Oth day of Sept tuber 2008, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa. Gouncilperson 1'k -r- C tvtc. k c introduced a RESOLUTION ?008 -- g c)
ESTABLISHING NEW PROCEDURES -FOR PROCESSING AND RECORDING
SIDEWALK RELEASES FOR ALL RESIDENTIAL AND NON-RESIDENTIAL ZONED
PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN AS APPLCABLE, and made a motion for
approval. The motion was seconded by'Councilperson Mavk PdRrseP1 .

WHEREUPON, the Mayor declared that the RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING NEW
PROCEDURES FOR PROCESSING AND'RECORDING SIDEWALK RELEASES FOR
ALL RESIDENTIAL AND NON-RESIDENTIAL ZONED PROPERTIES IN THE CITY
OF TIFFIN `AS APPLCABLE, by adopted and signified his approval of the same by
affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 10th day of September 2008 and approved by the
Mayor ori the 10th day of September 2008.
