Meeting Minutes Tune 14, 2007, 4:00 pm., Harwich Town Hall
In attendance: Members: Allin Thompson, Chuck Bartlett, Judith Bruce, Jane Harris, Larry Ballantine, Harry
Herrick; Coordinator: Carole Ridley.
Allin convened the meeting at 4:00 p.m.
The sole agenda item was the draft letter to Chatham selectmen regarding the inlet formation and the fill proposal,
Carole reported that the letter had been developed following information obtained from the inlet forum and a
subsequent meeting of the shoreline structures work group, to which all members of the TRC were invited.
It was voted unanimously ttrat tl~e letter be approved. The Steering Committee requested that the letter be
circulated to the TRC and shoreline work group members prior to submission to the Chatham BoS, and if
substantive comments arose that the Steering Committee be notified by noon Friday. Otherwise, the letter should
be sent to the Chatham Selectmen as is.
The committee decided not to schedule a meeting in July and to wait and see if an August meeting is needed.
The meeting was adjourned at 5: I S p.m.
