A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE 2007-2008 FISCAL YEAR
ANNUAL CITY STREET FINANCIAL REPORT AS REQUIRED,BY IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION BY SEPTEMBER 30, 2008
Whereas the Code -of Iowa, Chapter 312, Section 14 requires the submission of this
report by September 30, 2008. In accordance with Section 312.15,•the Iowa
Department of Transportation must certify to the State Treasurer each city not
complying with this section of the Code, and once notified, the State Treasurer.will
withhold'funds allocated to the city until the city complies.
Whereas this report provides the Iowa Department of Transportation and the Federal
Highway Administration with a documented record of street receipts and expenditures
for cities.
Whereby on the 10th day of September 2008 at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City
Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson /YIa✓k Pe)' v'5;ev) introduced A
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE 2007-2008 FISCAL YEAR
ANNUAL CITY STREET FINANCIAL REPORT AS REQUIRED BY IOWA
.DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION BY SEPTEMBER 30, 20.08, and made a
motion for approval. The motion was seconded by Councilperson A Lk e- CzRR -r'CJ-c�

WHEREUPON, the Mayor declared that the RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND
APPROVING THE 2007-2008 FISCAL YEAR ANNUAL CITY STREET FINANCIAL
REPORT AS REQUIRED BY IOWA -DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION BY
SEPTEMBER 30, 2008, be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing`
his signature thereto.
PASSED, by the City Council of'Tiffin on the 10th day of September 2008, and
approved by the Mayor on the 10th day of September 2008.
