RESOLUTION NO. 2 0 0 2-13 8 ADOPTED July 1, 2002
A RESOLUTION: MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO THE STANDING RESIDENTIAL
TRAFFIC COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Town Council adopted on February 13, 2001 Resolution #1001-17
which established the Standing Residential Traffic Committee which includes five (5) citizen
representatives; and
WHEREAS, the Leesburg Town Council appointed these citizens representatives on May
22, 2001 by Resolution #2001-58; and
WHEREAS, the terms for these five citizens representatives expires on June 30, 2002;
and
WHEREAS, all the representatives desire to be reappointed with the exception of the
southwest quadrant representative; and
WHEREAS, the Councilmember representative to the
Standing Residential Traffic
Whiting (At-large member), Wayne Henderson (N.E. Quadrant), Andrew McClellan (S. E.
Committee, Mervin V. Jackson, along with the committee recommend reappointing Elizabeth
Quadrant), Rick L. Knight (N.W. Quadrant), and appointing Peggy Coleman (S.W. Quadrant).
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. The Standing Residential Traffic Committee shall consist of the following
members whose terms will expire on June 30, 2004:
· At-large member - Ms. Elizabeth Whiting
· Northeast Quadrant - Wayne Henderson
· Northwest Quadrant - Rick L. Knight
