A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE 2007-2008 FISCAL YEAR,
ANNUAL CITY STREET FINANCIAL REPORT AS REQUIRED BY IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION BY SEPTEMBER 30, 2008

Whereas the Code of Iowa, Chapter 312, Section 14 requires the submission of this
report by September 30; 2008. In accordance with Section 312.15, the Iowa
Department of Transportation must certify to the State Treasurer each city not
complying with this section. of the Code, and once notified, the State Treasurer will
withhold funds allocated tothe city until the city complies.
Whereas this report provides the Iowa Department of Transportation and the Federal
Highway Administration with a documented record of street receipts and expenditures
for cities.
Whereby on the 10th day of September 2008ata regular meeting of the Tiffin City

WHEREUPON, the Mayor declared that the RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND
APPROVING THE 2007-2008 FISCAL YEAR ANNUAL CITY STREET FINANCIAL
REPORT AS REQUIRED BY IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION BY
SEPTEMBER 30, 2008, be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing
his signature thereto.
PASSED, by the .City"Council of Tiffin on the 10th' day of September 2008, and
approved by the Mayor on the 10th day of September 2008.

A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR THE PUBLIC HEARING AND LETTING OF BIDS
FOR THE US HIGHWAY #6 IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT IN AND FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN,
IOWA
Whereas, The City of Tiffin, Iowa will set the date for the Public Hearing and Letting of the US
Highway #6 Improvements Project, P.C.C. Widening and HMA Resurfacing from approximately
1675' east of Halfmoon Avenue to approximately 300' east of Roberts Ferry Road.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN,
IOWA:
The date for the Public Hearing and Letting of the aforementioned project is set for October 8,
2008 at 6:30pm at the Tiffin Fire Station Meeting Room. Sealed proposals for the construction
of said improvements will be received by the City Clerk of Tiffin, Iowa at the City Hall, Tiffin,
Iowa until 6:30pm on October 8, 2008.
Whereby on the 10th day of September 2008, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council,
Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson introduced RESOLUTION SETTING THE
DATE FOR THE PUBLIC HEARING AND LETTING OF BIDS FOR THE US HIGHWAY #6
IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT IN AND FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA, and made a motion
for approval. The motion was seconded by Councilperson
