MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Council desires to appoint effective individuals to serve at its will and pleasure on
these advisory boards; and
WHEREAS, on July 24, 2000, Council adopted Resolution No. 2000-148 establishing a
procedure conceming appointment of individuals to town boards and commissions; and
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Parks and Recreation Commission; and
WHEREAS, Vice-Mayor Jackson has interviewed interested parties in serving on the Parks and
Recreation Commission.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
Tressy L. Hams is appointed to the Parks and Recreation Commission for a term to expire June
30, 2004.
