Mayor Cheshire then turned the meeting over to Judy Cox, Planning Board Chairman. Mrs. Cox read the request of Roger Dale Stephens for rezoning of property on Oakdale Drive from A20 to A10. Tax Map 43-A-12,13,14. Mr. Stephens made a presentation Of the site plan and gave some background on the subject. Commissioner Smith asked what size lots the park would have. Stephens: 5,013 sq. ft. plus. Myron Martin: Are these conforming to Mobile Home Park provisions. Stephens: Yes Calvin Ashely: What about ingress and egress. Stephens: 25ft. all purpose road serving the park from Oakdale Drive. P.B.Member Brody: Do you own other trailers and have you had any complaints? Stephens: Yes I own others but have received no complaints. Paul.. Martin: Will these be rental spaces? Stephens: Yes Myron Martin: What restrictions or types of trailers will you have? Stephens:1970 models and up, all underpinned. P.B.Member Holman: Who will be in charge of maintainence and park upkeep? Stephens: Under my supervision Myron Martin: What about utilities. Stephens: All underground. Chairman Cox: Any more questions? If not then this meeting is concluded. 0 7: 16 PM Res ctfully submitted, Rick Haug " Planning Board Regular Session January 7, 1982 Convened at aprox. 8:50 PM. Members present: Judy Cox, Hilda Brody, Josephine Holman, H.W. Moore, Myrdn Martin, Larry Carter, Nancy Goodwin. Others: Rick Haug, Paul Martin, Manley Palmer Chairman Cox explained the action of the Town Board in accepting the Rest/Nursing Home amendment subject to approval of the State Code of Specifications for same. Rick Haug told the Board that as soon as the amendment was completed he would get new copies of the Ordinance to the Board. Ed. Edgerton of 1330 St. Mary's Rd. in Raleigh is the persom in charge of the State Specs. Mrs. Cox then read the letter of resignation by Mr. Walter Faribault, Sr. from the Planning Board. The effective date of the letter was December 19, 1982. Discussion followed concerning the Committee appointed by Mayor Cheshire to study the manner of appointments to the Boards. The Planning Board expressed its desire to study- the tudythe resumes of the applicants and make recommendations to the Town Board. Myron Martin made the following motion, " That Mr. Walter Faribault, Sr. be sent a letter of appreciation for the service rendered the Town Of Hillsborough Planning Board and also recommend the Town Board to do the same." Seconded by Hilda Brody. Unanimously approved. Mrs. Cox stated her interest in continuing to serve the Planning Board and a motion by- Myron yMyron Martin stated, " That the Planning Board recommend to the Town Board the re- appointment of Mrs. Cox to the Planning Board for another term when her present term expires in March of 1982." Motion seconded and passed unanimously. Mr. Paul Martin, Town Commissioner, stated to the Planning Board that he would like them to make general recommendations to the°Town Board for P.B. vacancies. Discussiorm followed on the merits of geographic location for representation and also qualificatiarL to serve on the Planning Board. Motion by Mr. Carter to extend meeting until agenda completed.
