RESOLUTION NO. 2002-181 ADOPTED November 13, 2002
A RESOLUTION: AMENDING THE PAY AND CLASSIFICATION PLAN
WHEREAS, the operations of the police department can be enhanced by a reorganization of the
command staff; and
WHEREAS, more command staff would facilitate the Department's efforts in emergency
preparedness and high performance in a rapidly changing environment; and
WHEREAS, reorganization requires the conversion of a Police Officer position to a Police
Lieutenant position; and
WHEREAS, the impact of such a change on the Fiscal Year 2003 budget would be minimal; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends approval.
THEREFORE, resolved by the Town Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The Pay and Classification Plan shall be amended to read as shown below:
