A RESOLUTION:
DIRECTING COUNSEL TO WITHDRAW THE TOWN'S
ANNEXATION PETITION, WITH THE RIGHT TO REFILE AT ANY
TIME, AND TO WITHDRAW THE TOWN'S SUPPORT FOR THE
LANDOWNERS' ANNEXATION PETITION
WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to withdraw the Town's annexation petition with
the fight to refile at any time; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to withdraw the Town's support for the
landowners' annexation petition.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg, Virginia, as
follows:
Counsel is directed to withdraw the Town's annexation petition, with the fight to refile at
any time, and to withdraw the Town's support for the landowners' annexation petition.
PASSED this 13th day of November 2002.
