Hamlett 7 � _ 4• H � p6i Agenda for Planning Board Meeting, November 18, 1982, 7:30 P.M., Town Hall Item 1- Willie Laws' Request for Rezoning Item 2- Consideration of Recommended Language of: Home Occupation Amendments Mobile Homes Section and Definition Multi -Family Section MINUTES OF THE HILLSBOROUGH PLANNING BOARD November 18, 1982 . Members present: Brody, Page, Cox, Cannity, Goodwin, Martin, Sheffield, Holman, Wagner. Others present: Dorward Chairman Sheffield called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. Since this meeting was a special meeting called.to review the Proposed Ordinance Revisions, the Willie Laws' request for rezoning was not to be considered until the next regularly scheduled meeting. Regarding "General Intent", Cox suggested that every section have a statement of "General Intent". Cannity suggested that "Home Occupation" not be made.. a separate section of the Ordinance, but come under Section 12, "General Provisions". These suggestions seemed to be generally agreeable. Brody suggested using a percentage of the square footage for home occupations. Cox supported that suggestion and moved that no more than 25 percent of the floor area be used for home occupation in the proposed revision. Cannity seconded the motion. After discussion, the motion .passed unanimously. Cannity made a motion that "accessory" be added to the definition of home occupation as in "An accessory business use of residential property...". Cox seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Off-street parking and enforcement were discussed. Nancy Goodwin made a motion that home occupations provide two "off-street" parking spaces.:) -Martin seconded the motion which did not pass as those in favor were Goodwin and Martin and those opposed included the rest of the members present. Cannity proposed that the Planning Board approve the Proposed Revisions (as 12.7) on Home Occupation for presentation at the Public Hearing in December. Cox seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Mobile Homes definition was reviewed; Cannity moved that the Mobile Rome definition was ready to go to the Public Hearing. Page seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. After discussion of the Mobile Home section, Page made a motion that the fine tuning of the Mobile Home Section be delegated to the Mobile Home Committee to prepare for the Public Hearing. Cox seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Page made a motion that final language of the Multi -family Section be delegated to John Dorward to be prepared for the Public Hearing. Brody seconded the motion which passed unanimously. The Public Meeting of the South Hillsborough Task Force was announced for December 1, 1982 at 7:30 P.M. at the Big Barn at the Daniel Boone complex. The meeting was adjourned at 10:10 P.M.
