RESOLUTION NO. 2003-11 ADOPTED January 14, 2003
A RESOLUTION: APPROVING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN THE TOWN OF LEESBURG AND LOUDOUN COUNTY
REGARDING PARTICIPATION IN THE COUNTY'S GROUP
HEALTH SELF-INSURANCE PLAN
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg provides its employees with a comprehensive health
insurance package; and
WHEREAS, in order to provide this benefit to our employees at a competitive rate, the
Town participates in the County's Group Health Self-Insurance Plan; and
WHEREAS, in order to participate in the County's Group Health Self-Insurance Plan, the
Town must agree to the terms expressed in the Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU"); and
WHEREAS, staff recommends that the Council approve the memorandum of
understanding.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in
Virginia as follows:
The Town Manager is authorized to sign the attached MOU.
PASSED this 14th day of January 2003.
