PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR
C-3 SEWER OPERATOR
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret determined that
there exists within the Borough a need for a C-3 Sewer Operator; and
WHEREAS, the employment of a C-3 Sewer Operator is a professional service
pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A: 11-5 et seq.; and
WHEREAS~ there are sufficient funds within the2000 Temporary Budget for this
purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that
ALEXANDER BIEL, JR.
and the same is hereby designated as C-3 Sewer Operator for and on behalf of the
Borough of Carteret for an annual fee in the amount of Twelve Thousand Dollars
($12,000.00)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this appointment is made as a professional
service under the provisions and pursuant to the Local Public Contracts Law
N.J.S.A. 40A:l 1-1 et seq., and that a notice of this action shall be printed once in
the Home News Tribune on January 25, 2000.
