RENEWING THE AUDIT SERVICES CONTRACT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
ENDING JUNE 30, 2003 WITH PBGH, LLC
WHEREAS, in April 2002 the Town Council approved the award of an audit services contract
with the certified public accounting finn PBGH, LLC; and
WHEREAS, the contract provided for up to four one-year renewal options subject to the annual
review and recommendation by the Finance Director, satisfactory negotiation of terms, the concurrence
of the Town Council and the availability of an appropriation; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the Finance Director that PBGH, LLC provided the town with
exceptional service during the fiscal year 2002 audit; and
WHEREAS, a fee of $45,600 has been negotiated for the fiscal year 2003 audit and these funds
have been included in the budget; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Director recommends renewal of the contract for the fiscal year 2003
audit with PBGH, LLC.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the Council
formally concurs with the recommendation to renew the audit services contract with PBGH, LLC for the
fiscal year ending June 30, 2003.
