April 30, 2015

Mr. Doherty opened the meeting at 7:32 p.m.
Minutes March 12, 2015 Motion made by Mr. Doherty to accept with a correction to a
name. Mr. Harrow second, all approved.
Legacy Farms:
The definition of “restricted land” was a discussed. Mavis O’Leary suggested that the
homeowners will be in charge of the restricted land open space. Mr. Mac Dowell
requested Mavis O’Leary walk with him and mark trails, she said that a member of Open
Space Preservation Commission (OSPC) must be present to walk the trails with them.
Mr. Doherty and Mr. Harrow believe that if the land is controlled by the home owners
than OSPC is not responsible for the trails. A public right of way would need to be
granted to OSPC to guarantee the trails. Mavis suggested that issue be clarified with the
Land Use Department.
Mr. Harrow made a motion to decline over-sight responsible for trails on restricted open
space at Legacy Farms unless the space is now owed by the Town. Mr. Doherty second.
all approved.
192 Hayden Rowe:
Mr. Doherty received a message from the Conservation Commission regarding a
complaint of unauthorized clearing of brush and cutting of trees. See March minutes for
history.
Mr. Harrow and Don MacAdam will do a site visit and report back to the commission.
Pratt Farm:
A meeting will be posted to vote on the purchase of Pratt Farm at the annual Town
Meeting.
Dave Goldman will offer an amendment at Town Meeting regarding sign for the Center
Trail to include HALT language.
Mr. Doherty made a motion to adjoin at 9:06 Mr. Harrow second. all approved.
