APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR THE 2008 WATERMAIN EXTENSION PHASE TWO PROJECT
FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA UPON REVIEW OF THE BIDS AND RECOMMENDATION
BY THE PROJECT ENGINEER
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa has received bids for the 2008 Watermain
Extension Phase Two Project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin, Iowa has identified an apparent bidder as having the lowest, most
responsible bid; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin, Iowa desires tovxpedite the contractual process, now
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY the City of Tiffin, Iowa, a motion was made by A., ke 0"e i Ck'
seconded by &V- k &Rgse v , that the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to authorize the Mayor
and City Clerk to sign all necessary notices, documents, and forms of contract, as required and necessary to
execute a contract with the lowest bidder, as identified and recommended by the Project Engineer.
