A RESOLUTION:
PRESENTED April 22, 2003

NOMINATING REPRESENTATIVES OF THE TOWN TO SERVE ON
THE POLICY COMMITTEES OF THE VIRGINIA MUNICIPAL
LEAGUE
WHEREAS, the Virginia Municipal League has requested that its member localities
nominate elected and appointed officials to serve on policy committees; and
WHEREAS, the League represents the interests of towns, cities and counties in the
General Assembly and before the Governor and Administration; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg desires to participate in the formulation of the
League's policy positions and legislative priorities toward formal adoption at the VML Annual
Conference in the fall.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia the
following persons are nominated to serve on Virginia Municipal League Policy Committees:
Environmental Quality
Finance
General Laws
Transportation
