RESOLUTION NO. 2 0 0 3- 9 3 ADOPTED May 28, 2003
A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO INSTALL AN ALL-
WAY STOP AT NORTH STREET, N.W. AND WIRT STREET, N.W.
WHEREAS, the Standing Residential Traffic Committee recommended the installation of
an all-way stop at the intersection of North Street, N.W. and Wirt Street, N.W. to the Town
Council at the Town Council Work Session on May 27, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council supports the recommendation of the Standing Residential
Traffic Committee; and
WHEREAS, stop signs conforming to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices
(MUTCD) need to be installed.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
The Town Manager is directed to have the appropriate signs installed at North Street,
N.W. and Wirt Street, N.W. for an all-way stop intersection.
