AMENDING THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN REVIEW AND INSPECTION FEE
SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, a Comprehensive Fee Study was conducted by Maximus, Inc. for the Town of Leesburg
that included recommendations for revising and proposing new fees for certain General Fund services;
WHEREAS, the FY 2004 Proposed Budget included recommendations for revising and initiating
certain fees based upon the results of the Comprehensive Fee Study and town staff analysis of the study's fee
recommendations;
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on May 15, 2003 to receive written
and oral comments on the FY 2004 Operating Budget proposal, to amend the Review and Inspection Fee
Schedule; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommended at its June 5, 2003 meeting that the Town Council
approve the amendments to the Review and Inspection Fee Schedule; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Town Council on June 24, 2003, as required by State law;
and
WHEREAS, the staff recommends approval of the revised Review and Inspection Fee Schedule.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the Review and
Inspection Fee Schedule be revised as follows to change and add certain fees:
