RESOLUTION NO. 2 0 0 3 - 1 2 3 ADOPTED August 12, 2003
A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING THE CONTINUATION OF A CONTRACT IN THE AMOUNT
OF $100,000.00 TO GEOGRAPHIC TECHNOLOGIES GROUP, INC. FOR THE
IMPLMENTATION OF YEAR TWO ENTERPRISE GEOGRAPHIC
INFORMATION SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the FY 2004 budget includes $100,000.00 for continuation of the implementation of
the geographic information system(GIS) based on the Town's Geographic Information System Needs
Assessment completed in the summer of 2001; and
WHEREAS, contract#1203-FY03-01 is a valid contract for the continuance of the implementation;
and
WHEREAS, the GIS Coordinator recommends the continuation of the project with Geographic
Technologies Group, Inc. for $100, 000.00; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available in the FY04 General Fund to fund this project; and
WHEREAS, the Geographic Information System Coordinator concurs with this recommendation.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The town manager is hereby authorized to extend the contract with Geographic Technologies Group, for
Phase II in the amount of $100,000.00.
