ADOPTED September 23, 2003
A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING A STREET RESURFACING PLAN FOR FY2004
WI-IEREAS, the FY2004 budget appropriated $475,650.00 for street repairs; and
WHEREAS, in a memorandum dated September 2, 2003, the Director of Engineering and Public
Works has recommended the following streets be resurfaced:
Name of Street and Limits
Maryanne Ave. (Governors Dr. to Tuscarora Dr.)
Rollins Dr. (Country Club Dr. to Country Club Dr.)
Ward Circle (Rollins Dr. to Cul-de-sac)
Loudoun St. (Church St. to Dry Mill Rd.)
Edwards Ferry Rd. (Heritage Way to Plaza St.)
Church St. (Loudoun St. to South St.)
East Market St. (Harrison St. to King St.)
Catoctin Circle (Crestwood St. to Dry Mill Rd.)
South King St. (Royal St, to Town Branch)
Royal St. (S King St. to Church St.)
South King St. (SCL to Meade Dr.)
North St. (Woodberry Rd. to Catoctin Circle)
Edwards Ferry Rd. (Woodberry Rd. to Harrison St.)
Edwards Ferry Rd. (Harrison St. to East Market St.)
West Market St. (Loudoun St. to Fairview St.)
South King St. Bridge (Southbound lanes)
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The street resurfacing program outlined in a memorandum to the Town Manager dated
September 2, 2003 in the priority listed, is approved. A copy of sUch memorandum is attached hereto.
PASSED this 23rd day of September 2003.
