AUTHORIZING THE ANNEXATION COMMITTEE TO REOPEN
DISCUSSION WITH THE COUNTY OF LOUDOUN ON ISSUES OF
MUTUAL INTEREST
WHEREAS, the Annexation Committee convened on August 19, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the Committee concluded unanimously that some issues merit discussing with
Loudoun County; and
WHEREAS, these issues include development of Bolen Park, including infrastructure issues of
roads and utilities and generally the development of areas in the county around the town.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Annexation Committee is authorized to reopen discussions with Loudoun County on matters of mutual
interest.
PASSED this 23rd day of September 2003.
