APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FY 2004 BUDGET TO ACCEPT A
DONATION OF $28,887.50 FROM RICHMOND AMERICAN HOMES FOR
PAVING AND PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS TO THE OLDE IZAAK
WALTON PARK
WHEREAS, the town agreed to allow Richmond American Homes to use town
property for the construction fights for a sanitary sewer lateral; and
WHEREAS, Richmond American Homes agreed to donate $28,887.50 to the town for paving
improvements to the existing road and parking lot at Olde Izaak Walton Park; and
WHEREAS, the town has received a check from Richmond American Homes in the amount of
$28,887.50; and
WHEREAS, a budget amendment is necessary and staff recommends Council amend the General
Fund budget in the amount of $28,887.50 for paving the existing road and parking lot at the Olde Izaak
Walton Park.
THEREFORE RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The FY 2004 budget is hereby amended for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2003 and ending June
30, 2004, by increasing the budget by $28,887.50.
