EXTENDING THE
PRESENTED December 9, 2003
ADOPTED December 9, 2003
HOLIDAY SCHEDULE TO INCLUDE JANUARY 2
WHEREAS, the County of Loudoun and Commonwealth of Virginia have granted January 2,
2004 as a paid holiday; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to have the Town of Leesburg holiday schedule
consistent with the County of Loudoun and Commonwealth of Virginia; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to grant additional holiday time off for employees.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the 2003
Holiday Schedule is hereby extended to include the entire day of Friday, January 2, 2004.
FURTHER, RESOLVED that town offices shall be closed for business on that day.
PASSED this 9th day of December 2003.
