LoCo Beans Celebrates Grand Opening in Historic Downtown
Leesburg on Saturday, June 16, 2012
Leesburg, VA (June 13, 2012) –
At 2:00 pm, on Saturday, June
16, 2012, Town of Leesburg
officials will hold a ribbon
cutting ceremony for the Grand
Opening of LoCo Beans at 114
South Street SE in Historic
Downtown Leesburg. Mayor
Kristen C. Umstattd will officiate.
Established in 2011 by Chau
Pham and Paul Modolo, LoCo
Beans brings the flavor and
aroma of fresh roasted coffee to
Leesburg. Operating out of the little red silo at the north end of Market Station, LoCo Beans’
fresh roasted coffee (whole bean or ground to order) is available for sale onsite during all
roasting hours and other posted times and at a growing number of stores and coffee shops
throughout Loudoun County, as well as online.
“At LoCo Beans, we begin by selecting the finest quality ‘green’ beans from around the world,
then through a process of experimentation and lots of ‘cupping’ sessions we create a roasting
profile tailored to bring out all the complexities of that unique coffee’s flavor and aroma.
Precision roasting against this profile then yields consistent, high-quality results. Paul and I
both have engineering backgrounds, so precision roasting to achieve repeatable results is
where we shine. We’re consistently cranking out the best coffee in Loudoun County,” said co-
founder Chau Pham.
The grand opening event is scheduled from 2:00 to 5:00 pm and will include roasting
demonstrations and meet-and-greet opportunities.
