PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
PRESENTED February_ 10, 2004

EXTENSION FOR COMPLETION OF
AND APPROVING A PERFORMANCE
GUARANTEE FOR POTOMAC STATION SECTION lA
WHEREAS, WL Homes, LLC, L.L.C., the developer of Potomac Station Section lA has
not completed all the required public improvements in accordance with the approved
construction drawings and town standards within the two-year period agreed to in the contract for
public improvements and previously approved time extension; and
WHEREAS, the developer has requested a time extension to complete the public
improvements; and
WHEREAS, the subdivision is in Loudoun County and the town's bonded improvements
are water and sanitary sewer only; and
WHEREAS, a corporate surety bond from the Seaboard Surety Company in the amount
of $48,440.46 was provided by the developer to guarantee the installation of public
improvements; and
WHEREAS, the town's Director of Engineering and Public Works recommends a time
extension to October 10, 2004.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the
follows:
SECTION I. The corporate surety bond from the
amount of $48,400.46 is approved to guarantee the
Potomac Station Section lA.
