RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret approved a :
contract to DeFino Contracting Co.., in the amount of $1,216,197.75 for sewer
improvement to the Hill Section area, Beverly Street; and
WltEREAS, the Borough Engineer has informed the Governing Body that a
modification of the contract is reasonable and necessary; and
WItEREAS, the Borough Engineer has further certified that said modifications were
unanticipated the time the original contract was awarded;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the sum of $25,00000 is hereby
added to the original contract and payment of the modified amount is hereby
approved in the amount of $1,361,526.00, which includes all approved change orders
to date.
Adopted this 23rd day of October, 1995
and certified as a true copy of the
original on October 24, 1995.
