APPROVING A FURTHER AMENDMENT TO THE FY 2004 BUDGET AND
MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2004
WHEREAS, the mid-year budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2004, has been presented and
reviewed by this Council in accordance with Section 15.2-2507 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the required public hearing was advertised in a newspaper of general circulation and was
held on February 24, 2004: and
WHEREAS, a further budget amendment is proposed.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The FY 2004 Budget is hereby amended and increased and appropriations are made for
the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2003 and ending June 30, 2004 as follows:
a. The General Fund is amended in the amount of $25,000 and appropriations are made from the
Undesignated Fund Balance in the General Fund in the amount of $25,000 for storm sewer
improvements on Old Waterford Road to facilitate drainage at Union Cemetery.
SECTION IL Totals are adjusted to the categories and accounts of these funds.
SECTION III. The Town Manager is authorized to transfer appropriations made herein to accounts
within the same departmental budget as long as the total appropriation for the department is not adjusted.
