RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF BOROUGH
OWNED PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Borough is in possession of Real Property which the Borough has
acquired through foreclosure or other means and which have no legitimate public use;
and
WHEREAS, the Borough desires to sell said property at public auction on or about
November 15, 1995 at TOO P.M.; and
WHEREAS, said property is more accurately identified as follows:
PROPERTY MINIMUM BID
Block 273 Lot 11 $110,000.00
Block 268 Lot 9 $ 5,000.00
Block 268 Lot 10 $ 5,000.00
Block250 Lot 13 $ 4,000.00
Block 208 Lots 6.01 & 6.02 $ 6,700.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Borough shall hold a public
auction on or about November 15, 1995 at 7:00 P.M. at the Carteret Municipal
Court, for the sale of the aforementioned property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the successful bidder agrees to reimburse the
Borough the amount disbursed for Title Report, Advertising Fees and Preparation of
Deed and Affidavit of Title.
BE IT FURTItER RESOLVED that all successful bidders shall be required to
deposit 10% of the bid price in cash or certified funds at the time the bid is accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said sale shall be advertised at least once a
week during two consecutive weeks, the last being not earlier than seven days prior
to November 15, 1995, in the official publication of the Borough.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Borough has set the above minimum
prices for each property pursuant to a certified appraisal, and shall have the right to
reject any and all bids submitted within 15 days of submission of said bid.
